Model Code

The proposed Model Juvenile Code developed by the State Bar of Georgia's Young Lawyers Division (YLD) is contained in the following links as of March 13, 2008. 

Along with public comments, statewide stakeholder interviews and public town hall meetings concerning the existing juvenile code will provide JUSTGeorgia with additional input in developing the legislative proposal.  All of these comments will be used to transform the YLD work product into a proposed legislative package for submission in the 2009 legislative session.
